Petroleum Jelly, Petrolatum, White Petrolatum, Soft Paraffin or Multi-Hydrocarbon, is a semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons (with carbon numbers mainly higher than 25), originally promoted as a topical ointment for its healing properties.
